Rita comes with a background with hands-on experience in aquaculture and a lifelong passion for horticulture and soil science, making her a natural fit for the iAVs mission. Now, she is fully dedicated to learning and teaching others about iAVs, helping spread awareness of its benefits for sustainable food production.
Her personal interests include food security, healthy eating, and exercise, which align perfectly with the values we champion at iAVs. Rita’s enthusiasm, expertise, and dedication make her a fantastic addition to our team.
Over the next few days, Rita will also take over the management of our social media accounts. She will be interacting with our community, answering questions, and sharing updates on behalf of iAVs.
While Rita takes on these public-facing responsibilities, rest assured that Dr. Mark McMurtry and our website administrators remain active behind the scenes. They will provide guidance, support, and instruction to Rita as needed. This transition allows us to focus more productively on building iAVs resources and collaborating hands-on with researchers and educators around the world.
